The Staten Island Botanical Garden is located on the north shore of Staten Island at Richmond Terrace and Snug Harbor Road. Just two miles west of the ferry terminal, the Garden is easily accessible by car, S40 bus, taxi or bicycle.

Staten Island Ferry Information |
From the ferry exit take a right onto Richmond Terrace. After two miles look for Snug Harbor Road on the left. Take a Left into Snug Harbor Road and an immediate left through the brick gateway. Take your first left onto Chapel Road. The Staten Island Botanical Garden Offices are located in Building H, The Visitors Center on your left.
From the Ferry Terminal proceed to Ramp D. Take the S40 bus to Snug Harbor.

From Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island
Take the Verrazano Narrows Bridge to Staten Island Expressway West (I-278). Once over the bridge get off at the Richmond Road/Clove Road exit. At the third traffic light, bear right which will put you onto Clove Road. Once on Clove, go through 5 traffic lights and when you come to the intersection of Clove Road, Bard Avenue and Bement Avenue make a sharp Right onto Bard. Stay on Bard Avenue until it dead ends. Take a Right onto Richmond Terrace and then take a right onto Snug Harbor Road.
From Manhattan:
Take the George Washington Bridge to the NJ Turnpike. Take Exit 13 - Goethals Bridge and follow the NJ/Goethals Bridge directions.
From NJ/Goethals Bridge:
Take the Goethals Bridge to the Staten Island Expressway East (I-278) to the Clove Road/Hylan Boulevard/Richmond Road Exit. At the traffic light, turn left onto Clove Road, continue til Bement Avenue, take a right onto Bement. Take a Right onto Richmond Terrace and then take a right onto Snug Harbor Road.
From NJ/Outerbridge Crossing:
From the Outerbridge Crossing take the fork to the West Shore Expressway to the Staten Island Expressway East (I-278) to the Clove Road/Hylan Boulevard/Richmond Road Exit. At the traffic light, turn left onto Clove Road, continue til Bement Avenue, take a right onto Bement. Take a Right onto Richmond Terrace and then take a right onto Snug Harbor Road.
